A Voluntary Social Year abroad is the abbreviation for Voluntary social year abroadIt is a state-funded year abroad, regulated in Section 6 of the Youth Voluntary Service.

Since 2021, the Namibia Support Association has been cooperating with the "Friends of Africa" in Schwäbisch Hall.

In addition, our first volunteer was sent to Okombahe in 2021.

He lives and works on site in the Lutheran Church's student residence and supports the 7- to 16-year-old boarding school students in their daily lives. He also gives extra lessons in math and English in the student residence, offers sports activities and takes care of the garden.

Two further FSJ positions could also be created in the Toy Library or at the Martin Luther High School are offered.
