The Martin Luther High School
at Okombahe, ELCRN
(Evangelical Lutheran Church in the Republic of Namibia)
Martin Luther High School (MLH) was founded in Karibib in 1962. Due to the South African apartheid system, the school was forced to leave Karibib. The Lutheran Church purchased a 4,000-hectare site near the Damara homeland at Okombahe. MLH was rebuilt there in 1969 and subsequently made a significant contribution to the formation of a black elite, particularly for the post-independence period (1990).
To this day, MLH welcomes students from all Namibian ethnic groups and teaches them together for a modern Namibia.
New used bus for the MLH
Together with the Bosch Foundation, the Namibia Support Association was recently able to purchase a bus for the Martin Luther High School.
This bus is a great help for transporting students and doing shopping.
