On June 18, 2020, the local mayor Simson Ochrub and the district administrator Neville Andre handed over 50 large food packages from the Namibia Support Association to the needy population in Okombahe.

In March 2018, Margret Knoche spent three weeks at the Namibia Support Association's projects in Okombahe and the surrounding area.

Many individual projects, such as the toy library (an educational toy lending service) in the kindergarten, were further developed for the beginning, and burglar-proof windows and doors and shelves for the toys were purchased.
A second kindergarten in Okombahe received a shade roof so that the children can play outside in the heat even in summer.

She visited many existing projects and developed them further with the local staff.
Paulus Shiku, a reporter for the Namibian Press Agency (Nampa), which is comparable to the German dpa, made a short video about her stay and some projects.
Paula Print, a stuffed newspaper duck, was in Namibia as an independent reporter for the Hohenloher Zeitung of the Heilbronner Stimme and reported on the activities of the association (on 29.9.2015)
In the run-up to German Evangelical Church Congress in Stuttgart (At the beginning of June 2015) the Evangelical Community Newspaper in Württemberg published an interview with the two chairmen of the association.
