IIn November and December, all classes at Krautheim Secondary School worked with their teachers to prepare for the Christmas bazaar, which took place on the Friday before the Christmas holidays. The proceeds from the Christmas bazaar were incredibly high: €6,400! 100% of these proceeds went to the Namibia Support Association. On behalf of the children in the student residence in Okombahe, we extend our sincere thanks.

The Namibia Support Association will now ensure that this money is used to repair the dorm's underground water pipes as quickly as possible. The Black Lutheran Church (ELCRN), which runs the dorm, has already commissioned people from Okombahe to submit a cost estimate and begin the initial work.

In February/March, Suanne Zeller, deputy chairwoman, and Margret Knoche will be in Namibia and Okombahe and will hopefully see how the work is getting off to a good start. By the summer at the latest, when the next tour group arrives in Namibia, the children will hopefully have running water for their toilets and washrooms again.
